I’ve watched The Avengers for 4 times already, and I can’t help to notice small trivia things here and there. And worry not, my dear friends. It’s not a spoiler, I promise you. But it helps you to notice the might be unnoticeable. XD
- Tony Stark’s Height
Let me tell you about their heights first from the tallest to… the less tall [the real actor’s height that is]: Thor 191cm, Loki 187cm, Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America 183 cm, Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye 178cm, Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk and Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man 175cm. And oh, Pepper Potts is also 175cm.
I can’t help to notice the change of Stark’s height in the scenes throughout the movie. You can see when he stands next to almost everyone there [one at a time, of course], he’s as tall as all of them. Look at the thick shoe soles he wear. LOL XDD
- Hawkeye’s arm guard
Do you see Hawkeye’s arm guard on his right arm? The arm guard is common in archery, but when someone needs two of them, he must’ve sucked pretty bad. At first he only wear one arm guard [2 straps on his right arm], in the middle part to the end, he wear 2 of them [the straps multiplied into 4]. In this article it was said that Hawkeye’s posture isn’t the right posture for archery, hence the bow string smacked the hell out of his arm many, many times. Oh, I do notice in one scene, Renner’s arm is bruised quite noticeably. ^^
- Captain America’s shield
This is only a minor mistake that only noticed by someone who’s looking for bloopers in the movie… like me. In one of the battle scenes, the dirt and scars on the shield are gone, and shows up again in the next scene.
- Thor’s Hair
In some fighting scenes, the wetness of his hair varies from wet to not-so-wet and back to wet again in just a split second when the scene changes.
- Nick Fury’s Scar
For a four times watcher like me, of course I notice the inconsistency of Fury’s scar on his left eye. Although it’s only a little, the scar shape changes from time to time. Not a big problem, though. I just happen to notice. LOL.
- Two Crows
The two crows that shows when Thor is talking to Loki in one of the scenes is actually the symbol of Odin.
- The scars, wounds, blood, etc
Though it’s not that easy to spot, but yes, they slightly change shape and placement. Again, it’s not a big problem. I deliberately look for something after watching it for the 4th time. XDD
There might be some things I haven’t notice, or perhaps noticed, but forgotten what it is. Hahaha… This is just for fun only. I LOVE The Avengers!
